who of you guys use this?

also, what sort of duty and gain are you using for what psi??

    good or bad feedback?
    things to watch out for?
    hints and tips?

    go for it..

I wish it had a way too just set the psi wanted and it figured out the duty required. That's my only "complaint".

Last year we ran 85 duty and 70 gain to get 26psi or thereabouts. On the 3071 I ran about 70 duty and 85 gain, but we didn't realise at the time the cams were fucking us over so those figures are probably out. This year on the smaller turbo I'm running 70 duty and 80 gain, but going higher on the duty doesn't yield any more power as we're out flowing the turbo already and getting boost dropoff.

There's really nothing to watch out for - they're a good little box - once you've got the hang of programming the levels, it's very easy to get your head round. Once you've got the levels programmed in, you're laughing as you just flick between them at the touch of a button.

Speaking of which, the "remote" button is a bit pointless if you're putting the gizzmo itself close to your driving position. The only other thing it's used for (other than changing the saved setting) is for scramble, which I presume you'll not be using.

Oh, the boost control is excellent - no flutter, no drop off or gain etc.

Er, thats about all I can think of for now!

    right, cheers ross.

i had the impression if you ran too much gain (or more gain than duty) you would get creep with the saved setttings.?

i have the MS-IBC but unsure what the multi scramble thing is all about.

have you got any pics or description of how you have plumbed in the solenoid?

Multi scramble is a feature to allow you to hit the button to get "emergency" boost - ie, a burst of extra duty if you need it (think fast & furious). you hit the button, get extra boost for a certain time, then if drops back automatically. Multi scramble is the same thing, but you hit the button twice or more, and you get twice (or more) of the extra.

I've never had a problem running too much gain - ideally you want to run as much gain as possible without overshooting your boost target (the result of too much gain) - in real terms, I've never gone above about 80 gain, so couldn't say if it matters much! I can say a very low gain setting sucks - 40-50 dies as you'd expect - slow spool up.

Don't think I've got any pics of the solenoid tbh - the manual has a great drawing iirc though, both for internal and external w/gate setup.

ok, well im wanting a "rough" duty setting for around 1 bar, but it looks as though ill be better off going through it myself.

the scramble thing sounds interesting but i wouldnt fancy setting it up :$

ive plumbed mine in the way that the gizzmo instrustions say for external wastegate. using port 1+2

    this may be useful

good info for when i get one

yep - thats exactly how I've got mine. Multi scramble seems a little pointless to me tbh -you end up only using the one setting realistically anyway - max boost If you want to go slower, don't nail the loud pedal.

Unfortunately danny I can't give you a good idea as everyone's setup is different - my settings to get 20psi of boost will be completely different to yours. We tested it by going up gain/duty 5 at a time and doing a run on the dyno to see what we got boost (and power) wise. When I get nervous we stop

This is the only photo I can find really from last year:
