Important! : Sick of my GTi alarm i want to disable it permanently

   Its been going off all night and ive tried fixing it several times and ive had enough now. I tried pulling the cable out of the ECU box under the tray in the center of the dash and that didnt stop the alarm.
   
   I read up that theres 2 ECUs?
   
   My cars a 53' plate GTi, any advise would be greatly appreciated because ive had to miss a shift at work tonight

   If that doesn't work, it could be an aftermarket alarm?

   My ECU doesnt look like that, it has an orange single clip that goes into the side of it
