Rattling at high revs

   Every time I rev my car to high revs I get a rattling noise which seems to come from under the gear stick.
   
   Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas what it could be?

   Maybe the exhaust thats under the gearstick area, only way to find out is have a look really.

   its in my mates garage the now so hopefully its something stupid and easily fixed

   Probably the gearlinkages catching on the exhaust, or a loose heatshield.

   gtet a new engine mount on the gearbox side or your exhaust is hitting the gearstick shaft
