I have a peugeot 106 GTi which I have recently bought but it is extremely noisy inside when driving. I am running a standard exhaust system yet it sounds really throaty and intense vibration is felt throughout the car. I fitted the exhaust myself, it is not hitting on anything or blowing. The gearbox has some movement so I was thinking possibly gearbox or engine mounts are knackered? The acceleration is also quite poor though this is probably down to other problems...
