16v Cylinder Head

    To cut a long story short, one of the spark plugs popped out and ripped the thread out. Currently have an oversized plug in its place but I can't leave it like that forever.

    Whats going to be my cheapest/easiest option - replace it or get it re-threaded? And what sort of money would I be looking at (inc. labour)?

    heli-coil is by far the easiest and cheapest way, sets are available on ebay to do the job, if you don't feel confident then most engine reconditioners will be able to do it with the head in situ
