    i like this guy!

    is it not a fuse/earth?
  4. #4
could be a short circuit or bad earth, i think ive seen someone on here mention if it has the wrong type of bulb it can play up. I'd get them out and have a mess with the bulbs etc see whats what

somtimes if you put a bulb in wrong it can make the lights "disco" i seen it before on a few cars

on my old punto, i put the wrong type bulb in on the rear brake light and it sent them crazy! i have also not put a bulb in correctly and this caused it to flicker.

Probably the way they are wired up,as Lexus lights don`t use the standard saxo bulb holders.Check you`ve got the correct bulbs in etc.

That is a fare comment, but 4 hrs 25 page views at the time, yet no reply..
My newbie thread had been up cpl of days and again nothing.
Anyway it would appear that the light units themselves were the problem put standard back on and they fine

Light units themselves? i thought you had to use bulb holders on lexus lights ''/
So maybe had a bulb in the wrong way round in the bulb holders? or the bulb holders arent actually wired up properly or even just a bad connection in the pins..

Thats just info if you actually wanted to refit lexus rears

This is what I would have suggested. Probably a bad earth that triggers funny stuff as LED lights only carry electric currents one way and not the other, hence the flickering
