A few of the bolts holding my rocker covers on are threded what is the best way to get them out? If not buy my self then where is the best place to take it?

    thanks.

try heating them up and twisting them with mole grips

Heating it up expands metal, so don't see how that would make it easier to get out?

Either force a smaller socket onto bolt.. Or try mole grips..

it works because the metals expand at different rates
is it the thread on the bolt thats gone or in the head?
If its the bolt thread i can supply a complete new set of them.

Its the vts covers and there torx head that have threded. You put the torx bit in now and there is nothing for it to grip onto. Mole grips are no good because theres no room around the bolt/screw/whatever to get it on.

One of mine did this, mole grips did the trick but I had to remove the inlet manifold to get enough room to twist them.

Could try bashing a socket onto them and twist.

Put a bigger torx bit in gently tap the bit in then use a ratchet.
