engine bay wires

   hi all,
   
   doing a vts conversion on my furio, was planning on smoothing the bay by moving most of the electrical components into the car(ecu, battery, fuseboxs etc)
   
   i know i have to get the battery cable to withstand so many amps, but do wires in the loom, that are all pretty much the same, hafta be a certain type?
   
   not to sure on the whole thing to be honest
   
   can anyone whos done this give me a few pointers

   Could you not buy another loom and use that to extend the wiring then everything should be the same and no need to guess wire ratings?

   when you move the wires inside the car you'll have other wires that are shorter because of the move - you can reuse those cut out sections to extend the other wires - you should have enough. If you're not sure, just take a stab at the wire size - most of it is 12 or 14awg so you could just buy 5m of that or whatever.
   
   It's a simple job tbh, just time consuming.

   cheers for both replies lads. have a single plug vts loom here, but ive a 3plug car so im just gona get a 3plug loom and ecu for the conversion
