#2Take the oil cap off look down at the camshaft while getting someone to crank the engine over on the ignition key.If the belt is ok the cam should spin.

#3depends on how loose it is? if its too loose it wont even turn the cam shaft. prob best to get someone to look at it who knows not the rac or aa

#4take the plug off the coil pack leave the key out of ignition. get a 22mm spanner or socket and turn the engine over. if all is free and moving you should have the engine get hard to turn when it hits compression stroke. best way to find if the valves are touching also cause if the are then it will lock up and go no further. can't feel that on the starter.
