   is this a straight swap?

   what does that question even mean? is what a straight swap? what are you swapping?

   yer it.ll go streight in same as 206 1,6-8v but is your car pre-plex or multi plex

   Just to straighten things out a little...
   
   You have the vtr and might be swapping it for a 206?
   
   Id say do it simply because the vtr's re-sale value will be less than the 206's.
   
   Get the 206 bang it on ebay and watch the 17 year old girls pay through the nose for a piece of shit......then but an 03 vtr!

   ermmm..
   
   206 was a job, turned out bottom end has gone, customer has handed in the V5..
   the Saxo is mine, somebody went into the back of me last weekend and BIG damage..
   
   so i was thinking drop the VTR motor into the 206..
   
   so all the running gear is the same (using the current 1.1 box/shafts ect)
   
   are the mounts and loom the same?
   
   i will be removing the aircon.

   looms different and as asked before,is the 206 an early pre multi-plex one or a multi-plex one? if its the latter,just forget it.
