Handbrake light

   I noticed the other night that my handbrake light is staying on whilst driving, but only dim not fully lit. I also noticed when driving tonight that after a while it dims right down and eventually goes out. I have checked the brake fluid and it is full so it's not that. What could cause this? seems strange..

   take the bulb out the dash
   
   
   check the switch,think i had a problem with it but was to long ago to remember properly

   Its for sale soon so just want to make sure everything is working properly ready for the new owner

   Quick search would of shown asked couple days ago...
   
   But to be helpful-
   Faulty switch- located under the handbrake handle press this a few times see if anything happens.

   Check brake fluid also.

   brake fluid already full
