What's your sort of budget mate?
Is it for one tyre, or a whole set?

It's all down to personal preference really. What one person says is amazing you might think is shit. lol

Personally I love the Kumho Ecstas I've got on my Fiesta, but they might not feel as good on the saxos.

They're definitely worth a try though. They grip really well and are well priced.

I agree with this mate i got some a couple of weeks ago and they are shit hot for the price. There is a shop on ebay called earls tyres and they are £90 per pair with free shipping.

185 55 14 - Toyo CF1 - People rate the T1R's like there is no competitor, I think theyre shit and the CF1's are much better in comparison. If everyone thinks the T1Rs are good then they would have a fit at CF1's.

I can't rate these enough. £60 a corner fitted and last ages. I had them on my old car and loved them.

I've ran both. Thought they was very similar levels of grip. Didn't notice any difference. If anything, the T1R's have a better feel to them as they're wider.

Only went to T1R's because CF1's are for 14'' and only 185 wide also £60 a pop.

T1R's are 195 wide (moar contact patch y0) and only cost me £33 a corner.

I'm a cheap skate, and spending £440 in less than a year on CF1's on a road car didn't do it for me .

Now I can attack my tyres and not worry about them costing a bomb. As all 4 was £145 delivered.

People say others over-rate proxys.. But when they're the same price as budgets.. with better grip, it's a no-brainer really.

Apart from you can spend less than proxes and get a better tyre.

Think it was dannygti that shared the same opinion as me on these tyres.

EDIT: £60 for CF1's each?! In fact for T1Rs thats expensive.

+3 on Kuhmo Ecstas. high grip, low road noise, long life, better MPG. Definitely a better buy for the long run. Toyos are good but don't last, then the performance drops when you get past 50% thread.
