Gearbox

   Hi just bought a gearbox for my 02 vtr got a lowxmilage box out of a mk2 x reg but when my mate came to fitting it he said they are different something about a bar that the linkages sit on or something,any 1 got any suggestions got told any gearbox would fit

   all saxo/106 boxes are the same fitment

   On 1 of the linkage arms there is 2 pins and on mine there is only 1

   they are all interchangeable,just clip the linkage on. Many boxes have the spare pin and its redundant

   So just knock the pin out and swap them over or just fit it with the spare pin on

   just fit it,the spare pin will never do you any harm

   My mates saying it won't connect 2 gears guna av to take it to garage
