    .........easy is it to tint you own windows? might do this on friday but dont want to fuck it up? just wondering how to do it without gettin any bubbles or anything?:thumbup:

    easy mate i done mine myself, you just have to go slow and take your time.i used the precut stuff whitch makes life a bit easyer.

    ah rite, i was going to get that stuff from halfords its like a roll, would that work??? did you use soapy water to do it too??

    check the haynes manual, its all in there, they use soapy water

    Yeah I use soapy water then if you F Up you can always get it back up. It also helps get the air bubbles out! Just make sure you clean the window properly before doing it

    soapy water not to much soap tho, credit card or similar with some eleci tape on stops scratching

    take your time and don't do it if theres a breaze you will get crap init, best if you can do it in a garage

    In garage with plenty on light so you can see any blobs etc...

    Leave it too a professional I would. I was thinking of doing it myself but advised against it. Don't forget you need to shrink the tint especially for the back window so it fits sproperly. Use a hair dryer heat gun. Use talcom powder to slide the tint on the outside of the window. Once done you wet and wash the inside and put the tint on. Good luck

    if your getting the roll cut out a peice of newspaper to the shape of the window then cut the film to the shape,makes life a lot easier getting it on if you arent removing the windows
