central locking fob problem

   so my vtr central locking is working fine when i put the key in the door but when it comes to using the fob, it wont do anything, i have tried replacing the battery and setting it back up to my car but it still dosent do anything anybody got any ideas??

   you may need to re-sync it to the car or it can be the fob itself, did it suddenly stopped working? were the batteries dead?
