Fuel gauge.

   Right, mine hasn't worked since I got it, got fed up of it, so posted on here and was told it's my sender unit, so got one fitted it and still the same problem.
   
   Started my car it reads empty, changed my pump/sender (on a full tank (petrol everywhere :| idiot lol.)) Started it, same thing, reads empty, asin off the scale, with no red light, then the red light comes on after 10 seconds, then it 'revs' to full and empty about 4 times then goes back off the scale with no red light on. Any ideas? Annoying me now.

   thats a bad earth thats causing that bud !
   just re-earth it but thats defo what will be causing this ive sorted many of them with this fault !

   mine did this it turned out i needed new clocks, put new ones in and had no problem since look on ebay mate

   2 13mm bolts each side of the dash where the carpet meets the dash,try tightening them up(earthing points)
