seat problem

   after putting the drivers seat forward to let a passenger out and put the seat back. the next day only at a set of traffic light i noticed that the seat slides forward. it does slide the whole way back so that i cant reach the pedals but back to the point it is at and full forward. also the lever under the seat is stuck in the up position aswel. hada quick look and cant see anything that could be jammed in somewhere preventing the seat from locking onto the rail

   My passenger side does this. Needs sliding forwards fully and then backwards before it locks. Annoying.

   Move the seat forwards,then on the rail there`s a bracket with a spring in it move that along until you get the seat locked on the runners.

   Be rough with it as though you are trying to break them.They withstand crashes so wont break, but give it a hard time slamming it about and itll probs work.

   My mates vtr did this, just slam it back then it goes forward and stays

   +1 i think i know what you mean. on my mates ibiza it wont lock back til you push the bit in the rail forward

   Have a look make sure nothing has got caught in the locking mechanism and have a play with it, it should sort itself out with sliding forwards and back, try isn't the tilt to make sure that's working properly as well
