    Right...

locked my car last night via the remote fob wich initiates the alarm. Gone to open my car this morning and the fob wont open the car. I can open the car via the key but the alarm keeps on going off.

I can start the car but the alarm is still goin off as im driving. I dont want to take it too far cos the immob will kick in and il be down the road with a car i cant move!

replaced the battery in the key fob and its still not working... need it sorted asap cos ive got work in the morning!

    any ideas??

Cut the horn off? Was that a new battery?

Yea I've disconnected the siren. Thing is that as I'm driving the alarm hazards are going off and the immob will kick in after so far.

Will the immob kick in if I drive the car with the alarm going off?

Mate of mine says that if you drive the car for 8 miles the car will right itself.

Cheers mate. Whn u say reprogramme the for is that the lOck the car with the key and click the button x2? Tbh I didn't click the button when the key was in the ignition so il try that later.

Drove it 20miles to work this morning and the immob didn't cut in but the alarm still goes when you open the doors/boot/bonnet!

    from the handbook:

the remote control must be reinitialised after changing the batteries. to do this, use the key to unlock the doors and press button A of the remote control twice.

(A is the larger button on the fob)

I've only got 1 button on my fob. It's the older fob.

    Unplug the alarm siren. Simple.

Unplugged the siren but the hazzards still go off which is annoying cos it goes off when you open/close the door boot and bonnet!!

Yea it the one with the sensor in the roof. Have been pointing the fog at it and it still doesn't work!
