exhaust clamps

   is it jus me or anyone else hav this problem,but the clamp on my back box never seems to stay tight,so the back box always moves about giving me a constant blowing exhaust(not much like but annoying)i have a full stainless system on mk1 vtr,can u get uprated of better clamps

   where are the clamps? all joints should be welded 2gether, should'nt they?

   thought all saxos were the same like wif a knuckle joint at the back and slide on joint to the middle and bolt on at the cat,its the knuckle joint at the bak im having trouble wif

   im not sure then. i know that mines all welded together apart from where it attaches too the cat.
   
   howeva my standard exhaust fell off once and i had a spare back box in the garage so i fiited it temporarilly using exhaust clamps and that was blowing like hell, so wot i did was wrap the area where its blowing with tin foil (quite a few layers) and secure it with a couple of zip ties, worked a treat.

   i had that problem. solved it with Gastite. from motorworld.

   aye but it shudnt be doing it for everything been brand new,had the same trouble wif the last exhaust i had on aswell u jus cant seem to get the clamps to pull in tight enough
