idle when car first starts

    Just wondering is it normal for my saxo to idle at about 1100rpm when first started then as it warms up it slowly goes down to about 600 rpm and why it would change?

    perfectly normal, cold engine would run slightly lumpy otherwise, so the ecu runs it richer at slightly higher rpm. goes away once warms up.
