My saxo had a fight with someone's tow bar, and lost..

Completely my fault. On a roundabout and both me and the guy in front were watching these two dick heads fight in their cars over who cut who up in what lane, etc etc. I didn't realise the guy in front stopped, went into the back of him.

He's fine about it, no damage to his car and he was worried about mine as it was pissing water everywhere. His tow bar went through the bumper (need a new bumper) and into the radiator - pushing it back towards the engine and puncturing it with two holes.

Anyway, cool story bro, bool cory stro and all that shit - is it hard to change the radiator on a Saxo 1.0 / 1.1?

    Chearse!

Not difficult at all mate, I did it to my VTR and i think it's just two clips holding it in place, then remove the hoses. Might be a mounting bracket further down that I've forgotten about but it's all self explanatory when you look at it.

Fantastic. Managed to get hold of a bumper & radiator for £60, thought I'd try to fit it all myself - not that mechanically minded but wouldn't mind getting into it a lot more.

    Ta!

Yeah it was one of the first "big" jobs I did on any of my cars after my rad exploded down the M5!

Got a bargain on the parts too, well done.
