losing power

    just got a saxo 99 plate i drove bout 30 miles in it no probs,then went 2 work this moring after bout 20 mins got 2 a round about went in2 second,half way round it started like put put put,lost a bit of power ,put my foot down in2 3rd and through the gears it was all right.on the way home it was doin exately the same thing. any ideas what night be causing it?

    Could be map sensor.
