Are check straps easy to swap?

   Might change one of mine as it makes an awful double knocking noise when opening/closing drivers door.Are they easy to change -ie door card off job or not?
   
   EDIT:or do I have an option to remove,lube up and replace?

   Put some spray grease on the check strap & hinges,& pinch the nuts up on the door itself where the strap is bolted to it.Actually changing the strap is easy enough just a little fiddly.
