starting problems on vts

    got my vts running today but it wouldnt turn over at first so i had to touch a wire from battery to starter motor to start it am i right in thinking i need a new ignition barrel

    No mate clean up the connections,that wire is part of a small bunch of cables 1 to the starter 1 to the alternator & 1 cable to the battery.Sometimes you need to replace these cables.

    il try the replacing the cables will also buy a new ignition to as my key is bent anyway
