visual difference 1.1 to 1.4 ?

   hi saxperience
   
   not long ago i got a new engine in my saxo, which should be identical to the original 1.4.
   
   now after driving for a while, i have noticed that the car seems much slower in accelleration and i cant push it any past 160 kmh in top speed
   
   i am suspecting my mechanic to have dropped in a 1.1 instead of the promised 1.4.
   
   now, is there ANY visual differences between a 1.1 and a 1.4 saxo engine?

   engine code amongst many others. As for the change in performance that could be down to 101 dif reasons. How much was actually swapped and why?

   the change in performance could be due to it being a rubbish engine. when i had the 1.1 it was just as fast as the 1.4. i raced one and apart from the top end being slighly longer they were identicle
