In the past few days my car has developed this fault. Normally when the car is locked via the fob, the red LED inside flashes and when unlocked (inside the car/driving) the LED does not light up.
But in the past few days the red LED has stayed on constant, when locked/unlocked it stays constant RED and does not even flash at all when pressing the fob.
I have also noticed that sometimes the car is unwilling to lock/unlock and you have to press it a couple of this to do this action.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem? It is not an uprated alarm, just a standard one on an (2001) Saxo VTR.
