Removing it from a single plug ecu. I assume that's where it is removed from.
Haynes manual is very brief as to where it goes.

lambda sits in exhaust - cable will be about 4-6" and will go into another plug in the wiring harness. take out from there.

possible to do from engine bay above or under the car jobby?
I just want to remove the connector and leave lambda in exhaust

Just locate the sensor and trace back where the cable goes lol
The one under the car has about 30cm of cable and then a connector which just unplugs.
Why are you unplugging it?

Trying to see if it solves my idling issue.
Typical VTS could be anything idle issue.
