Clutch or clutch cable gone?

   Hey guys was driving to work today and my clutch just dropped down about 5cm making it really hard to drive the car and change gear
   
   When driving the car I can still just about change gear and when driving in higher gears it feels like the clutch is being slightly pressed down. Does it sound like my clutch has burnt out or the cable has snapped?
   
   Any help would be great

   could be the clutch bearing gone fru the pressure plate is it making odd noises

   The release bearing has been squeaking for ages so I expect I need a new clutch, annoying as I was thinking about selling it!

   way life is buddy ye sounds like bearing as eaten it pressure plate probally buggered the bolt on sleeve what bearing runs on as well

   A trip down to the garage is needed then, really not looking forward to driving it this time haha! cheers mate
