braking????

   im sorry if this sounds stupid....
   
   when i brakes the front of the car shakes hard and can feel its not braking thta well any ideas would be gratefull

   Have you checked the condition of the pads and disks.
   
   Juddering whilst braking could be a warped disk.

   thats wot ive been told also had the brakes checked and not the pads

   What do you mean checked the brakes, As in the caliper? I put my odds on warped disks being the problem

   thanks just gonna buy new disks then i guess thats best the pads are ok me mate sez

   Discs hardly warp. When overheated brake material from the pads is transferred unevenly to the disc surface.

   If you want to be tight, what you could do is belt send the old material off or use a flapping disc to get it flat again?
