   what is the diameter of the middel silencer as i want to replace it with a performance silencer , if you any good websites drop me a link plz

   As in the bore? Fuck knows. Kam-racing and Super Sprint supply exhausts with race silencers

   vtr is 46.6mm as standard. VTS is a 50mm bore.
   Not measured others. I know the diesel is smaller still..

   how much do these affect the loudness of the system?
   
   i cant remember how quite mine was when i had a standard centre as it was years ago now. my piper back box has quietened it down, plus i run a turbo rather than a 4-2-1 so its quieter but just a little to loud for me... will it help with the volume??

   The larger the bore the louder, being straight through its louder still than a baffled system.

   Mine has the supersprint race section fitted so no mid silencer. Don't think my system is standard bore... If I were to have one fitted this would surely quiten my system down??
