Removing passanger airbag and fitting a glovebox...

   Just a little query, on a mk2 vts there isnt a glovebox. Im just wondering is it possible to remove the passanger airbag and replace with the following...

   IF it is possible you would need the back part of the glove box as well as the lid the screws and the threads in which the screws would screw in to (the air bag might use these), and im guessing there would be a metal bracket behind the air bag supporting it which would probably be riveted on and would need drilling off, this is all guess work mind

   As said its possible,or get a carbon fibre insert.

   Why dont you just fit a vtr dash and not fanny about..

   I have the Inner/bucket for the glove box you can have for nothing.
