Clicking noise and door won't stay open

   As of yesterday when i open the door/shut it the arm coming off the wing and going into the door clicks and doesn't hold the door open. The door is loose and just blows shut like there is no weight to it.
   
   Everything is always greased up and was when i bought the car so there not rusted or stiff....

   Check straps gone. Mines just done the same. Annoying as fuck!

   This is interesting to me, as both of my doors have never been able to stay open since I bought the car. Just thought it was because they were shi-- uhh, French.
   
   Mine did the same, it was the little door-stop arm that was broke. It was broken off the inside so it rattled when you closed the door, and didn't hold it open at all.

   mine have never stayed open, just got used to it.
   
   as mentioned, it's the strap that's fucked.

   Check strap cost around £22.00 from ebay,get it fixed before it breaks completely & damages your door/wing.

   Check strap. My old car did it and it creased the door because it opened to wide.

    definately worth fixing, mine was knackered on my old 1.1 and the door used to swing forward made a few marks on the door as i never bothered with it
