    Hiya

My handbrakes on but the lights not there!! When I turn egnition off and back on it lights up so bulb works. It's just disappeared!!!

Also can some1 tell me how to fix the catch on the drivers side door. Takes a few attempts to close. Door seems as its dropping when opening but when the door is open there is no play at all! The rubber bit round the catch on the body of car isn't there.

    Thanks

Where the base of the handbrake is you`ve got a switch, check the connections on it.

With the handbrake full engaged (On)
It should underneath the bar of the handle, it's a little plastic square button than gets pushed down when the handbrake presses onto it. Real simple circuit.
Press down on the button and you should be able to turn the dash light on and off.
If you can, then the handbrake isn't making contact with the button.
If you cannot do this, then the button or the wiring is at fault.
The button for the handbrake is similar (if not the same) as the one used in the boot, for turning the boot light on and off when the boot is opened.

Ohh Is the handbrake light lit when your put the key in the ignition and turn once?
Could be something stupid like the dashlight itself
