Brake lights not working!

    Hey, the brake lights on my saxo are not working.
    I have bought new bulbs but still, nothing.
    All the other lights work including the reverse lights (which I think are on the same fuse?)
    Really dont want to take it to a garage to be ripped off if you guys can help ?

    Clean the terminal's with a small file

    most likely your brake switch. It's a little black box located under the dash, above the pedals. It controls the dispatch of electricity towards your brake lightbulbs. Easy to change, unplug old one and plug new one in.

    as Manu said. Thats exactly What happened to mine. Replacing the switch worked a treat.

    Naaaah avoid hellfrauds, go a a eurocarparts (or others) near you or even a scrappy.

    Do NOT drive the car, it's actually dodgy especially if you have someone up your arse and end up in a situation where you would have to brake right back down on the bonnet of whoevers following you.

    Yeah your better off going your local autospares shop. Three quid Mine was i think.
