What size tyres for these?

  1. #1
Ive had my Fondmetal 4000's for some time now, and there almost finished and ready for some tyres.

But i cant remember for the life of me what size tyres i took off them.

    15"
    7J
    ET11
are the measurements, what size would you guys recomend?

i dont want any strech etc, just a nice perfect fitting tyre.

probably guna go for a 45 or 50 profile and obviously 15", just dont know what width?

    cheers, rick.

    you'll want 195/45/15 for a 15x7 inch wheel on a saxo

how wide are vts wheels? are they 7J aswell?

there what ive got fitted atm, with 195.45.15's and they look perfect on them wheels.

thought they would look slightly stretched on the Fondmetals, they look wider.

im not 100% sure of the width of vts wheels but thats what they come with, any 7" alloy comes with 195's on them, i have 8" wheels with 195's which give them a small stretch

    okay thanks mate.

just i read a for sale thread with some Avon semi slicks in, they were 215/40's i think and were advertised to fit 7J wheels such as Pro 1.2's etc. so.

tbh, 25mm isnt alot of difference is it.

i might go for 205 45's, 10mm wont mkae much difference.

it shouldnt do no, ive had 195's on my rallye steels which iirc are 6.5J so 195's were slightly too big but i got them at an awesome price and looked fine on the car

get whatevers cheaper. can be a huge difference in price with tiny changes in size

I'm hoping you aren't lowered much I'm down 60mm and it rubbed really badly with 195 50 15's with people in the back

im only down 35/40 so i should be fine mate.

    4 x 195 50 15's for £148 delivered. guna purchase a set on friday when i get paid

EDIT: its also a track car "in progress" and has no interior, just front seats, so will not be having people in the back, lol.

im getting 195 50's so much cheaper. less than 10mm difference anyway, will hardly notice it visualy.
