#2Possibly your driveshaft inner cv joint/s are worn mate.
-
#3I just had the mot last week, would they not look at this?
-
#4I might be wrong but I don't think they really check things like that in Mot unless you told them about the problem they might not even notice it. but i'd go with shafts aswell
-
#5Can you regreese them without taking tge shaft off the car?
-
#6if you lock and push it all the way to the stops of the rack, it will make all sorts of funny noises.
you shoudnt fully lock anyay. -
#7I have always done this and i know what noise it normally makes, but this noise doesnt sound right
-
#9Can you regreese the cv joints without removing the shaft off the car?
-
#10Update, just took it out....its creaking whenever i move the wheel, but only when im not moving!
any ideas please -
#11d d d driveshafts. happened to me not to long ago, change whatever side the noise is coming from, either that you risk shearing the driveshaft off if too much torque is applied, like me
-
#12Can you actually tell what side its coming from if i stand outside the car? Because inside the cabin i cant tell at all!
