Flakey radiator

my radiator looks pretty shit tbh, and when you touch the fins they just flake off, cant be bothered changing it just now kuz pumped bout 500 into in the last 3 weeks. also when i got home i seen fluid running down the radiator, like a leak, the bottle doesnt seem to be losing water so dont think its overheating or that, could it just be leaking kuz its old and shit or is there something worse going on? ta

define knackered, as heating still works so does everything associated with it?

it's leaking water, it is therefore knackered.

so what happens if i dont repalce it, i will eventually if i keep the car but if i dont then whats the worst that can happen, overheating?

it could potentially drop all the coolant without you knowing it, on a long motorway journey for instance, overheat and fuck your engine up.

    OR

you could spend £30 on a decent radiator that isn't about to fail delivered to your door.....

i know which one i would be doing.

change it, for the sake of 30 quid when you could end up frying the headgasket if it starts leaking quicker.

Why ask for help on a problem if you intend to just abuse it anyway? I bet someone on here would even give you an old radiator for free if you asked nicely and covered postage...

Sure fire way of finding out for sure if it is leaking is to get the cooling system pressure tested mate.
