either ecu is still locked or you've got a bad earth, not sure on saxos but on berlingos if you had the engine out and missed an earth the key light flashes.

No on saxos if orange light flashes the immoboliser is still plugged in, i will say it as it is you locked your ecu again.

Have you unplugged the immobilizer control unit?
Not sure if it happens when you send the ecu off to be unlocked but if you've unlocked it by disconnecting the immobilizer on the donation car, if you leave your immobilizer module plugged in on the car it's going into, it'll immobilize itself again!

On another note, won't cause the key light to flash but have you connected and reset the crash switch on the n/s, near the engine bay fusebox

i emailed the people that unlocked my ecu and he sent back this >>The orange light doesn't mean anything anymore as the ECU is unlocked, it will still be flashing because the immobiliser box (irrelevant now) is trying to communicate with the ECU but the ECU won't let it in because otherwise the ECU would get locked back again, so that's is not a problem that is normal, you can get rid of the flashing light by disconnecting the immobiliser box which is located behind the glove compartment but again this won't make any difference about the car not starting that will only stop the light.

If the car is nor starting you have obviously another problem in the car, if you want please remind me what car is it and I can help you out pinpoint the problem.

well loads of people carry out conversions including my self and take the immobiliser box out as it does lock the ecu without removing it 1st. the light flashing means theres a fault in the immobiliser sytem who unlocked it for you?

No as i said its flashing because immobliser is plugged in on the saxo's it using the immoboliser to flash the light, so leaving it plugged in has relocked it that company dont know what they are on about.
