question about heat wrap

  1. #1
does anyone know if b&q do something suitable to keep my heat wrap on my manifold.. The metal cable ties i have were ok but I've ran out. I just want to secure it more before i fit it. More cable ties would be ok but i was wondering if i could use anything else. Perhaps a Jubilee clip that fully opens so i Can put it on the branches ? Do they do somet like that ?

they should do suitable metal ties.

just to clarify. The heat wrap is all on my manifold but only one cable tie on each branch holding it in place. I basically want something for where the branches start to make sure it Doesnt unravel.

nah, you can undo them and then pull them apart, and then thread it back in and do it up again.

tbf, chances are if you go to a garage and ask for a few they will give them to you. i know i give them out at work.
