crackin noise when under load

    just wonder if anyone has had this problem;

    my saxo has done this since i got it and would be nice if a could get rid of it,

    it does when the engine is under load going uphill after slowing down an it does it for a few seconds but runs fine and no misfire

    its been well serviced and well maintained

    would be nice to get rid of it if possible

    where is the noise comming from?? what sort of rev range, speed, weight in car, lowered? need more info buddy

    As above it could be anything really from engine/gearbox to suspension mate.

    its coming from the engine, its been lowered, big wheels and exhaust, it sounds like the spark is earthing out before the spark plug

    If thats the case try another coil pack,but 1st check all the connections to the coil pack for breaks etc.
