Water in footwell?

Hi, Went in my car yesterday to find a puddle in the drivers footwell. Did some research and people suggesting it could be the aerial needs resealing so im going to do this. But looking at the sunroof there is a bulid up above the outside of the drivers side corner but then nowhere else it has drained off. Do you reckon it could be the sills need cleaning?
any info or opinions would be great thanks. (hoping its nothing too bad)
Or knowing me it could of just been i left the door ajar and we have a right downpour. As it seems where the grab rail is above the drivers side to be wet but no where else is wet?

could also be the windscreen seal, check if it has any cracks/holes etc

Could be heater matrix is knackered behind the dash and causing water to leak. Happened to my friends saxo. You would be driving along and see it dripping down into the footwell.

might sound disgusting, but feel the water in your footwell and taste it.
if it tastes horrible its matrix

ahha ok mate ill give that a go in a min, as im going to try and free the seized brake if you've seen my other thread so shall give it a taste ha and will let you know cheers

danny just tasted as i free my seized back wheels (finally got some success out of the saxo haha) and it tasted like normal rain water to me nothing suspicious so guessing its no the matrix is. will look at the bolt behind the light and the sunroof
