Hi, I seem to have no luck with this saxo this month for some reason.
But here goes havent drove it for a while and came to drive it today take it for a spin round the block. As i put it into first it wouldnt move the front wheel move but the back wheel drag not moving at all.
So has something seized is the handbrake stuck on? Thats what it feels like to me but i dont know anything sadly.
So if anyone could help me that'll be great thanks

get a big hammer and whack the drum will release it or should do its the shoe lining that have stuck on due to moisture you may need new shoes.

I had this problem with my old car. On mine, the lining had come off the shoe and that jammed it up. Happened to my cousin's 106 as well...

the brakes will grind if its been stood up a while due to rust on the disks also the calipers can sieze

so is it just a matter of using it more to get rid of the rust and stuff. If i take them off and give them a clean will this help? Cheers

just go for a spin (just not too fast incase they are fucked) and apply the breaks a few times, if it stops squeaking great, if not then jack up th front take the wheels off and see if there is any meat left in the pads.
