Swapping Numberplate Lights

    got some new led lights for my rear plate just wondered how you get the old ones out? do you do it from the outside or do you have to take the inside cover off the boot? cheers

    Edit: Mk2 VTR if it makes a difference

    the lenses just pop off from the outside mate.

    well one of mine has fell off and can see the bulb so im guessing thats how you change them

    Yeah you need to press the sides in to pull it out, good luck doing it without breaking them

    Cheers i'll have a go, hopefully wont break them but think i've got some spare on an old bootlid if I do

    the plastic covers are £3 from citroen if you do break them

    As said, they pop off, use a flat blade or a flat head screw driver, and good luck not breaking them. Managed to get mine off without breaking and was jumping for joy because i'm sad

    Put your hand through the gap and grab the plastic, theres a clip each side. You can do it from outside but youll more likely snap them
