Central locking with a fob arse ache!

Just put a battery in my central locking fob and tried to re-pair with no joy at all? The central locking work like a charm with the key.. anyone know if the receiver is fused?

    Cheers

    Try this from the handbook

    1. Unlock the vehicle using the Key.

    2. Press the LOCK button twice within 20 seconds of unlocking the vehicle

mines the same, tried a few new batteries, tried the lock twice thing still no joy.

doesnt bother me tho, my cars going to be purely used on the track in a few months so wont have any locks.

mine has done the same, tired re-coding it but not joy.

Don't really want to pay £125 for a new fob.

Jesus crapping crimbo £125 for a new fob

Fuck that for a game, what if it turns out not to be the fob and something in the motor?

Surely it must have a receiver somewhere that accepts the code and opens the doors, maybe that is fused and it's popped.... maybe?

Anyone got a manual? My one got 'lost' in the Christmas post allegedly

i found with mine that sometimes the battery terminals don't touch inside properly when you clip it back togeather, used to work for like a week then the terminal wud flop down until it eventually snapped off now i have now remote locking

If the fob is fubar then the cheapest option to keep remote locking is a Hawk box.
