New ECU Fitting, advice need please :)

   just purchased another 1997 mk1 ecu or my saxo. its been remapped. will it work if i just take my old 1 off and plug in my new 1??
   
   Any Help would be much apreciated

   if its for your car yes.. and its been remapped to what?
   what car you got as in 1.1 1.4 etc etc...

   As long as it came from the same car as you have it should be fine.

   i have a 1997 mk1 vtr and the ecu i bought has came of a 1997 mk1 vtr aswell. it was remapped wit a induction kit, decat and rear exhuast sports box. now 117bhp. i hav these items already fitted to mine but old ecu aint remapped and limiter hasnt been removed. is it just plug and play??

   as long is came from same year as your car then and it same plug it should work .
   
   i don't know but does re map unlock the ecu ?

   It is plug and play if its unlocked already yes.. Also PLEASE make sure BEFORE you plug it in your remove your immoboliser or you will lock it, then you might aswell throw it in the bin.

   confused lol....i have a 4 digit code shit thing in centre console, and my key dosent hav a chip inside it. any help or ideas??
