Which oil filter??

    hi guys and girls, brought myself a Saxo VTR on an 02 plate, spoke to a friend in car parts trade to get a service kit and he said i need to find out which oil filter it is i need as there is a screw in one and i think he said a clip on one, also he said that there are 2 types of air filters as well, a round one or a flat one?
    Can anyone help me please.

    Your oil filter will be the yellow insert one, not sure about air filter though as ive only ever had aftermarket air boxes.

    But if his in car trade he can just type your number plate and it should tell him what you need... Yours is a mk2 98hp engine if thats of any help to him.

    You should be able to tell which air filter you need by your airbox. If you are unsure just open it up and have a look. not sure on the oil filter.

    Oil filter is an element type one, air filter is the flat type!

    All you gotta do to check the oil filter is open the bonnet. If you can see it to the left of your exhaust then you need a screw-on type (metal). If youve got a plastic housing to the right of your exhaust at a slight angle then it's a paper type.
