make sure your earth cable is making contact to bare metal

Be careful where you earth it though. Just bought a saxo and it's got an amp in it, not sure where it's earthed(somewhere under the false floor) but the speakers whistle with acceleration. Something easy to fix I just cba ATM.

Earth, Or could be the "Rem" wire is loose i had that problem

thats not your earth, thats having power lead running along side another cable
