It's an odd noise and very difficult to describe.
When cruising between 2 and 3k rpm there is a rotating noise like a belt or bearing maybe. The noise appears as if something has done a full turn
So the noise is like on, off, on, off. under 2k or over 3k the noise disappears.
I also have a whine in the morning when the engine is revved and goes within about 10metres of driving.
Not sure if they are related?
Had Cambelt kit including tensioner and idler, waterpump replaced just recently in order to solve these issues and it is still there. Checked alternator belt and all mint.
Any other belts/bearings that can be replaced?
