msd coilpack

    Looks like my standard coilpack is on it way out is the any advantages or disadvantages pro's and con's in using the msd type with msd ht leads

    advantage is the stronger spark but its a bit overkill if your running a faily standard engine

    even ob a high power lump the leads arnt really needed as OE leads are normally the best

    standard OE ones, i have escort ones with my MSD but i only fitted the MSD cos im running 25psi and direct port nitrous, and i got it cheap

    contemplating one, good price in the states and the standard coilpack has gone down twice on me with the VTS.

    Will be running 1.5 bar. Worthit Martin?

    Still on for April as well, soon as im back i'll let you know.

    if you can get one cheap might aswell, the ford ones are very good but if you can get an MSD for the cost of a new ford one in the uk then go for it

    i phoned atspeed today and the bloke on the phone said its just the same as the ford one just red and a msd logo
