Splitting key fob

   Hi chaps
   
   I need to split the key fob for my 03plate vtr for the central locking , is it as easy as using a blade or screwdriver in the groove? And carefully trying to prise open ? Also what battery's do they take ?

   i done it with a stanley mate, but dont push to far though as it could split a wire

   Cheers , I've split it now , just need to fInd a battery ? How long do they normaly last ?

   P.s easiest to open the keyfob with a 1 pence i find
